Grow Your Leadership Skills Through Dance

The Dance with E.N.A. Student Internship Program offers dedicated young dancers the opportunity to develop professional skills while making a meaningful impact in our dance community. This program is designed to nurture the next generation of dance leaders through hands-on experience and personalized mentorship.

Program Overview
Interns work directly with our Artistic Director, Enakshi Vyas, to create a customized training curriculum tailored to their specific interests and career goals. The program runs for the full academic year (September through May) and includes:

  • Personalized mentorship from E.N.A. faculty

  • Hands-on experience in your area(s) of interest

  • Professional development workshops

  • Community service opportunities

  • Letters of recommendation

Areas of Focus

  • Teaching & Curriculum Development: Assist in classes, learn pedagogical methods, and develop teaching skills

  • Production & Performance: Learn about choreography, costume design, staging, and performance coordination

  • Marketing & Communications: Assist with social media, photography, event promotion, and community outreach

  • Arts Administration: Gain experience in studio operations, program planning, and event management

Program Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in high school (grades 9-12)

  • Minimum of 2 years dance experience (any style)

  • Commitment of 2-5 hours per week

  • Enthusiasm for dance education and community building

  • Strong communication skills and professionalism

  • Ability to attend required training sessions and meetings

Application Process
Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are due by August 22, 2025. Selected candidates will be invited for interviews the last week of August, and the program will begin on September 2, 2025.

The Dance with E.N.A. Student Internship Program is designed to provide meaningful educational experiences for young dancers interested in exploring careers in dance education and arts administration. Interns are not employees and this program is not a substitute for regular employment.
